Shree Sharad Shikshan and Yuvak Kalyan Sanstha Chikhli, Dist. Buldana was established in the year 1994. The founder president of this institute Mr. Vishnupant Patil (Ex- Principal) is a learned personality and due to his tireless efforts, an art college was started in Buldana in the year 1995-1996. Due to this college, another senior college has been started in place of the district like Buldhana and students from rural and urban areas have been provided with the facility of degree education.
Of special note is that in the academic session 2003-2004, the Institute shifted to a new well-furnished building and faced the NAAC in a short period of only 9th years, achieving “B” grade with 70.10% marks by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, (NAAC) Bangalore. Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University is the first reputed and best institute of arts faculty in the area to get it. Also in the session 2004-2005 our institute has been granted Permanent Affiliation by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University for a short period of only 10 years. The institute has been included in 2f &12(B) of UGC Act. Also, on 02 Feb. 2006, the institute became the first institute in Buldana district to face NAAC Bangalore, an autonomous body, for the third time for its academic standards.
We have well-equipped laboratories for UG and Ph.D. students. In our college 9 Faculties are Ph.D. holders; and 6 are Ph.D. Supervisors in five departments.
